fishing starts, instantly casts hook. waits, repeats. sometimes it will sync up right and catch a single fish.



thats what it says in the start screen.

launcher says 2013.09.03.0000.0001, though.

Erm well being able to attach whenever is good but, the problem is still the window changing, and therefore the cast isn't highlighted for my start fishing.

Example being:
Mouse over action bar button number 2, cast is highlighted, switch to leviathan client press start fishing. But by switching to leviathan, the 2 is no longer highlighted.

What happens if you click Start Fishing? Does it time out and alarm? Or does it manage to cast?

Yes the alarm does go off.

It's the same concept of having multiple windows open typing in one, then switching to another to do something, the initial window wouldn't be highlighted.

Well, we have the same version, so its not that. What lure or bait are you using and where are you fishing? Also, what level are you in fishing? I'm trying to think of reasons why you might be having this problem, but I'm at a loss. I'll add some more debugging output so with the next version release, which should be tomorrow, I can get some more information. Sorry I don't have better news.

Yes the alarm does go off.

And you can manually fish from that location if you hit the 2 key? Are you running full screen, or windowed? How are you switching to Leviathan, alt-Tab or clicking on it's window? Sorry if these questions seem simple, but I'm trying to figure out what might make the Cast button dim if you aren't moving at all.

I use it in window mode, I can actually make it highlighted when starting now, via windows key or alt tab. I can cast where I am(Via the 2 key), but even though I Attach it isn't showing my player location and such it all displays 0, perhaps that is a part of it?

The actual start fishing still doesn't work yet.

Can you open the log window before you attach and PM me a copy of the log output when you attach to the game? The fact that it is not getting player location means it's not able to attach properly. If it doesn't attach then the Start Fishing button will be clickable, but won't do anything since it doesn't think it's connected to the game.

I found a solution to my problem, it was one of those expected ones that you have to watch out for with any program. Set to Run as Admin.

Alright so it works decently. You don't need to have the 2 highlighted or anything. Just press start fishing.

It's a good script start, but a little buggy.

Just running it with my text box open shows me the commands are doubled up (tries to press 2 twice, then immediately after tries to press 3 twice). It also seems to immediately desync after a cast by trying to catch, causing it to go to "PostHook: wait..." for the duration of the cast. After a catch (when it actually makes a catch), it sits idle for about 10 seconds before recasting.

Not on the bot, on the actual game client. The bot doesn't read that value correctly yet. Sorry I wasn't more specific.

Cant get this to work. Tried running as admin, running game in window mode. It attachs correctly and shows my pos, but seems like its not sending keys. It just sits there and [15:00:47] Waiting for bite...

Not sure why you are getting doubles, the state engine shouldn't allow it to double up. It sounds like you have a variation of the bug where it thinks it's hooked a fish right away. Unfortunately I haven't been able to squash that bug yet. Are you using a game controller by any chance?
