Yes. But there were some accounts suspended last night due to a vulnerability in the 64 bit client. I pulled auth down, patched the vulnerability and brought the program back online.

Well there goes you being able to say no one has ever been banned from this. I guess that's what I get for being naive and believing this program would be undetectable.

Pretty sure there was one detection prior to this (not entirely sure). And why the **** would you ever believe that any cheating software would EVER be undetectable? You realize how easy it would be for Blizzard to detect both HB and Soapbox if they really put effort into it? Lol.

Not easy at all. Feel free to try. It is a constant game of cat and mouse and 9 times out of 10 the mouse wins. Its the 1 time that you get caught that everyone comes out with their 2 cents on the situation but most have no idea what they are talking about or how it was even achieved.

That is the common misunderstanding when these events happen, is that it was "easy" for Blizzard to achieve. There are risks involved in using 3rd party software. In this event it is something that has been there that I already had seen, had concerns with and simply did not act fast enough. So people ended up getting suspended. Blizzard has to work just as hard to catch us as we have to work to prevent getting caught. I am constantly working on measures to avoid detection which is why our track record has been good compared to other bots.

Even if you want to take everything I say about fixing the vulnerability and throw it out the window, based on history you odds of being banned for using Soapbox Rotations is less than 5%. I wish it were 0%, but as explain above, it does not always happen that way.

The only thing stopping them for achieving this is European laws, atleast for the HB side of it. And even without monitoring processes, like I said, considering you inject into the game process itself it wouldn't be too hard for them to detect any of the previous mentioned programs.

Even Valve can detect ring0 kernelmode cheats and if a shitty AC like VAC can accomplish that, why wouldn't you think that a company such as Blizzard wouldn't be able to detect more "obvious" stuff such as your bot?

Not to question your knowledge, but you are missing a lot. Requires time and research to do what they did. Now that it is done, they will have to find another way, and the cycle continues. The method they used is not a "secret", it was just not known until now that it would have been an issue for us. So, the area was addressed and fixed on our end. When something is changed it is not a big secret either. The information you mentioned on open processes is only an issue for honorbuddy, but even then, that can be hidden as well from scans in machine code from certain locations which i am sure is something they have already considered adding.

For everything you can mention as a means of detecting something, there are methods available to nullify that. Again, cat and mouse. I appreciate the work and time (especially free time) invested in these programs ppl code for the public, but how many people got banned? Pretty bummed out that I'm banned for 6 months right before Legion prepatch and launch.

For those who are sceptical on security I used Soapbox for the entirety of my time in WoD and not once had any issue. I played a pretty good amount in WoD (Killed any amount of hope I ever had for the game becoming good again) Also I'm super glad to hear you will be providing something for legacy. (Providing Blizzard makes the servers)
