Funny thing here is that I attempted to buy the account, he gave me 2 un/pws and neither had cata beta on them. He apologized and told me to file a paypal dispute, but then hasnt sent the money back on paypal yet. This plus the fact that he hasnt been online much at all makes me think its a quasi-scam. Rhainland can you confirm that you have the beta and can get online now?

He wants you to dispute, that was what he agreed with you. Anyway, let me take some screenshots, and update post with some links.

I wont provide the log publicly, as it can contain private information. If this gets reported Stangwins, i will provide the log to any mod that asks.

However, do your dispute and get your money back, just as Sm00gel wanted you to. Thats what he told me on MSN.

UPDATE:

After a few days of having beta access, Sm00gel contacted me on MSN, stating that he was really sorry. But he would like to refund me and end the deal, as he wanted to play on live. And did not want to risk hes account getting banned/suspended. After several attemps trying to explain to him what WOULD happen in the event that Blizzard would take action, i decided i didn't want to continue discussing with him.

I agreed to let him refund me the 59 pounds that i transfered via paypal. I paid in 2 batches, 2 of 15 pounds and one of 40. A slight discount is what i got.

However, he has only refunded the 40 pounds and are still holding the remaining 15 pounds on he's paypal account. I would strongly advice people NOT to deal with this person until i have got all my money back, he seems very unstable as of this moment.

Also, please take into account that this guy is only 14 years old. I was not aware of this before i bought it.

He also has yet to refund my money I have escalated it to a paypal claim and have yet to see what happens. (capslock inc) DO NOT DEAL WITH SM00GLE. both me and rhain have had bad experiences with him and its simply not worth it.
