Speaking with the guy now, asking for a screenshot of the email he received next to the skype window. Sprakk's description of his transaction seems vague but has me worried.

Very doubtfull. You dont accept a payment of someone and then all of a sudden go offline, Unless the electricity fell out, But he said he was playing a LoL game, so again, very unlikely.

I can't, it was select as family and friends transaction.
God, I'm so stupid.
That $50 could've gone towards groceries for a week.
So dumb. I only happened upon this website last night, and decided to muster up the balls to use it this morning. What a regret.

Well, spoke to my bank. Looks like I may be able to put a stop on the funds coming through.
Since I didn't have sufficient funds in my paypal, and it needed to draw funds from my bank account attached to it, hopefully I can stop the funds coming out of my bank account first.

Still can't get in contact with the guy, so looks like a legitimate scammer.

You should have used a MM (Would have costed you more but also gotten you a working key)

Or bought a key from a reputatable member


Also, I don't think it's impossible to chargeback even if you send it through a family and friends transaction... But if some of the funds where through your bank then I'm positive you can chargeback that money

Yeah, I'm new to the forums, so not really familiar with it. Actually only came across it last night. So this was my first experience with ownedcore.
I just hope this person does not represent the majority of the community here.

Seems like an awesome site with lots of potential.

Just hope the majority of my funds can be held from going through by my bank.
