Windows 7 vs 8

I'm thinking of applying windows 8 on my computer.What do you guys think?(I have 7 now,and I heard that 8 are a lot faster)

8 is a lot faster and better. It has a few features you will need some time to get used to, such as no start and transparent task bar (it's very awkward) but other than that, system is sick improvement. It has all these small things that make your life easier, for instance, when I installed corel, it detected compatibility issues and offered me to download an update that will fix it (corel update, not windows). That's pretty cool

Windows 7 wins because Windows 8 looks gay and is bad and has a lot of errors and is made for phones only and is no difference from win 7 except for the ui and all the bugs

But seriously: it's very subjective. Some like 7 and some like 8. Why not just try 8 out, and if you don't like it, just downgrade to 7 again?

I ran into an issue when I tried to downgrade to windows 7 (basically wiped my C:/) so you may want to backup your current system before you try. That way, you can restore it all with a few clicks. But give w8 a day or two, you won't go back. I didn't =)
