Codec

Not 100% sure if this goes here or not, but I really can't find an answer so I came here. Well, lets get right to it. My friend hosts his Vent server and uses Linux. He wants to change the codec to speedx but he doesn't know, nor do I. Any ideas?

Well on windows, there is a "[something].ini" file. He should figure out where this ini file is, and edit the settings within that. I do not know where he installed the ventrilo server to though, but the default location may be found from google searches.
