    java and botting

    hello,

i was learning c++ a year ago, but than i began to study computer science at my university and now i have to learn java.

i just wanna stay at one language atm. (java)

people are telling me that it is impossible to write a bot in java that reads memory etc. but i know that there is the JNI .

but would you recommend me to code a bot in java ? or is it too unsupported ?

iam atm a very beginner but its fun for me to test things out.

so would you say " dude learn java for you study and after that go and learn some c++ if you want to create a bot " ?

iam very unexperienced and i hope you can answer my questions.

    thank you

A bit off-topic, but I find it annoying how most universities focus on Java when it has little real-world application compared to other languages.

As has been said, once you have learned Java sufficiently and properly you will be able to pick up C++, or similar, quite easily. The issue is experience, which is why most job applications will say "2 years minimal coding C++, 3 years experience of OOP" for example.

If you like Java use Java. I have seen lots of bots that use Java. It will be hard... If you want something working in a day then dont use Java... You can find many C# libs to get you up and running in min...

Talk to rolingo, he has a Java bot

yes well thank you for your opinion.

i probably will finish learning java ( well reading the book ) because i will need it for my exam but i think that i will switch to another language very soon.

i started programing since... i dont know ...6 months? and i started with c++ ( primer was the book ) and than i had to switch to java.

iam still very very unexpierenced, what would you recommend me if i want a relativ fast achievement. c++ or c# ?

what is "easier" to learn ?

C# is Microsoft's Java... Its really alike. I would say use C#, unless you know ASM. That is the only advantage I can see, is lib like ihook and bm.

Take a look at this... It has all the libs you need
