    [Recruiting] Bot developers

Hello, me and ddebug are in the startphase of writing a bot. We are doing it in C#, going all injected. To complete our team we are looking for experienced C# coders, pref. with reversing experience.

We've already got the base with objectmanager, EndScene hooked, we can move and castspells. So what we will be looking to do is making AI and pathing system.

    Just some information:
    Visual Studio
    Using SVN
Our goal is to probably make an all-in-one bot, we will be looking for gatherbot, and maybe into questing, but that's far ahead.

If you are interested please post below with your:
    Coding experience
Have you made anything related to WoW?
    What timezone are you in?

PS: You will need to be dedicated to this project.

Just to add a couple of things:
    * We do plan on keeping this bot entirely closed source. It will be proprietary to the group of developers working on it.
    * We may or may not have public releases (this depends on what everyone wants; I personally don't care).
    * We have a solid base (the 'framework' is done) that miceiken and I have completed. It's stable and relatively efficient. It doesn't "borrow" any code from other bot projects. It's entirely composed of our work.

You are expected to be experienced in C#. You must know the advanced features that the language has to offer. I'm serious. If you don't know what delegates or pointers are, please don't waste our time. We won't be recruiting random scrubs on our team. You should, additionally, be familiar with the internals of World of Warcraft (you don't need to be an expert, but you should have intermediate knowledge at what the game does).

There will be a quasi-interview before you are granted SVN access.

We do expect you to be active on the project. I average several commits a day. We do understand if you are occasionally "busy".

What are the benefits of working with us?
    * Both miceiken and I are experienced in coding in C#. We both have played WoW for a couple of years now.
miceiken's WoW Portfolio: (he's done other things, but the list below is exclusively for WoW related stuff)
    * Open source bot base in C#
    * AnkhBG
    * Was part of the development team for Mmototus

ddebug's WoW Portfolio: (I've done other things, but the list below is exclusively for WoW related stuff)
    * Remove a DLL by unlinking it from PEB in C#
    * Disable ASLR in WoW
    * Modit! Morph your character; change your scale...
    * Aukcija! Find the exact 'Time Left' in an auction...
    * On the development team for BlackRain
    * We are fun to work with (at least I think so?).
    * You'll be able to complete the bot in a fraction of the time working with us on a team rather than working alone. We'll also be able to get more done.

How long have you been coding?
I have been coding for 5 to 6 years.

Have you coded anything wow related before? If yes, what?
I have coded my own wow bot,
One back in BC, it was a simple bot but it worked. It used no memory editing, just pixel scanning.
Another uses memory editing, I have not updated to 4.0.x, its at 3.x.x.
Both bots are leveling bots / pvp bots.

You can also find most of my work at,
YouTube - World Of Warcraft Bot - .:[SkyBot]:.

    or my website,
    www.darkenedlinux.com

What time zone do you live in?
I live in Canada, so it is going to be off by a lot if you are from the uk.
Most people around this forum are from the uk..

How long can you spend coding per week?
Week days: 4 to 6 hours
    Weekends : 8 to 12 hours
It really depends on what I am up to

    Any other comments?
I have created many programs in many languages. I manly code in C++ and C# but I know VB.
I also know some Java and Perl, working on Perl atm.
I am also not a little kid, part of my profession is programming.

I will also be dedicated to the project. I would hate to waste your time on such a good project.
Thanks! This looks like some fun!

    Hi!
I'll be your best bet. I have experience in developing a bot for the wow, there is a source and a lot of developments. Besides, the experience of reversing.

But you still owe me $ 500. So I have nothing left to put the source code to public access. I worked for a whole month with promises that you calculated, but calculation never came. Then you said that you will not be calculated, so I decided it would be fair to put the source code, so that they could use it.
