    N00b Question

Alright, as the title says, I have a n00b question.

The question is: How would I start to code a WoW bot, specifically a WoW fishing bot?

I know all the basics (and more, including DLL injection from reading Jagged-somewhat's tutorial) of C++ coding, so I don't need a recap on that. I just really need to know how would I start this. Once i'm started, I can probably figure out the rest.

All help is appreciated. (Will +Rep)

    Thanks.

    OH shit backup...

You're going to want to start with some classes and a main method.

But seriously, if you know what to do and you know C++ and OOP then you should be on your way.

I guess the first step would be to find the wow proccess, find your player, find your buffs and your helpful LUA, find your bobber, etc.

You can either do Dekz way, which is probably the hardest, and most detectable (no offense, but it is/should be) way.
For an easier way (and more buggy) you could do pixel scan and find the color of your bobber. That way you'll find your bobber, and the rest should be quite easy to do.

The problem with pixel searching you may run into is that its not as reliable to have it searching for one colour on the bobber
