This method works for sure! And everyone else who bought a random boot-service just dont have enough traffic to take the server down. You can even test this shit in the training area.
Only thing I can not recommend is playing with friends together. My mate was disconnected from the game before the server went down and got penalty for it.

But for solo-queue this method works pretty fine.
