we tried gdrive, dropbox and mega. both had some kind of download limit, and stopped working after a few thousand downloads...

@KillerJohn did you already talked to Rek about hosting the TurboHUD Release zips on the Forum? Maybe this way you also could use it to make an Update Client of some sort.

I had this problem, and am not in IT, and just spent about 30 minutes of my life trying to figure out why KJ wanted me to download an infected fake flash patch?

If you are not intentionally trying to give people spyware, then EXPLAIN on your download link how to get around the zippyshare problem. You IT bros talking about "its great let KJ do what he wants" obviously have no ****ing clue about the average citizen.

Private download servers are expensive and require a lot of bandwidth, especially when you are forced to update, A large number of users to download at the same time, if the server does not have enough broadband will face the collapse

This is also why I have offered hosting on my web servers. I have no bandwidth limits as I run a business level account

no store limits , no bandwidth limits no domain limits

I am a director of my own company and host many clients on my server.

I have voiced my concern over the ZippyShare issue due to the problems I know can affect the average non IT literate users

I am not a child, I am a software developer by trade and a business man.

I am also only offering as I use TH all the time , D3 is my downtime game.

This is the last time I will offer ,

KJ if you wish to take me up on the offer of the free hosting space then let me know. perhaps we can then work together for an automatic update application as the location will then become static

Let KJ do it the way he wants, Zippyshare is a good host and there is always a virustotal link to go with the download. If you dont like it, dont download it.

its nothing to do with virus in the download itself, its ZippyShare. often fake ads and links can dupe you and infect your PC

zippy share is virus when you download a file but i download it on my brothers computer and give him the virus then copy it on usb memory to my computer lol

zippy share its better then those stupid sites that make you wait 30 seconds and go 50/kb per second and takes 20 minutes to download a file and if it cancels you gotta wait 30 minutes to retry
