thud multiple d3 sessions

sorry if this has been asked in the past but can thud be "attached" to a single d3 process have been using 2 accounts and the overlay swaps to the d3 process (dual screen) that is currently active. i dont want to run 2 thuds at once i just want it to stay on the d3 process its attached too.
