Movespeed Guide - How to get max movespeed

The main item for movement speed is obviously boots. Boots currently max out at 12% movement speed bonus. This only gets you a little under half way to the game cap of 25%. So how do you get the remaining 13%?

Legendary items

Inna's Glory(Pants)
Unity(Rings)
Wanderlust(Rings)mostly Magic Find if not always MF. - i haven't seen a GF stat change up on the ah for it. /remus3

Wirt's Orginal Leg - THIS IS NOT LEGENDARY IN THE AH Level 5 Blue Mace - It's hard to find on the AH right now because of the search options. Easiest way is to search for 1H Maces level 5 and then sort by buyout and scroll down to find the cheapest one. Has 6 or 7% movespeed and also has up to 10% gold find and magic find. Only problem is you're not going to be killing anything with it being a level 5 weapon.

This is a list of Set or Legendary items that have movement speed on them in addition to other stats. So what this means is that you need to get probably 2 more items that have has 6% and 7% to complete your set.

Common items that most people look to buy pretty cheap are Unity ring, Slave Bonds bracers, and Hammer Jammer pants. Note that all these items are UNIQUE-EQUIP which means you cannot wear 2 Unity rings at the same time. You will need to pick two different slots. Pants are preferred over Bracers in general because bracers can easily have Pickup Radius which Pants cannot.

Also Wirt's Original Leg, lvl 5 magic mace also has +to movement, goldfind and item find. I have one on my Barb when doing act4 pot runs.
Note, it wont come up in the AH search if you designate magic item. Or rare or legendary. Dumb thing only comes up if you search All

Wunderlust nailed me in the bank for not fully reading the stats ZZZZZ.ZZZZZ 1.2mil for 15%magic find /wasn't happy but w.e 6% movespeed for now /dont care til i spot a GF comparable

There are also passive skills, As a DH i get a 15% increase, monks get 10% i believe

Do you know if the 15% that DH's get count toward the 25% max? Or can you have 25% from gear, 15% from Hot Pursuit, and then the 60% from Tactical Advantage?

As far as I know those speed increases are above and beyond the boosts from items.

I know storm armor + scramble stacks on top of the 25%

There is also a chest called Tyraels Might that grants movement speed

I might be missing something but... why would someone max their Mov. speed?

Most of what a bot does is run from place to place. Faster speed means more ground covered in the same amount of time.

Ranged classes are required to kite in inferno. faster movement allows the player to turn and burn for a longer duration while staying out of rare/elite range.

Demon Hunter passive does NOT stack on top, 25% is the hard cap.
So just stick with the 15% passive and use a pair of 12% Boots with pickup radius/gold find on.
