Mhh well okay... 160% is best i can get so far with socked and i have every item with mf and so on. But i dont get any good drops... some blues but only around 200 dps... farming for 2 hours...

Magic find does not increase the quality of the items, only their chance to drop. Getting 200dps blues is just bad luck.

yeah sometimes this method gets really frustrating and sometimes yellow drops will happen every 2 or so runs.
made some decent gold with that method on the ah.

Okay guys. Stop saying its nerfed please. It's not. Its' the speed and consistency that allows this to work. You will get whites. And 55 blues. Because at level 50 you found level 40 blues, and level 40 you found level 30 blues. That's just how their drop mechanics are. I got two good rares last night within 5 runs, which was lucky. The top right Weapon Rack often always spawns a mob. Travel from the top and bottom on the left side (by Rakanoths door). If you get mobs, use speed abilities to enter Rakanoths door, then teleport home.

Definitely isn't fixed, you guys are just having a bad RNG streak.

the people who are saying it isn't fixed; are you on US, Asia, or EU? I did this for 5 hours with buddies and we all got at least a "good" yellow every 5 mins. Did this again for 4 more hours yesterday and found 2 bad rares total. Have 255% MF on the US server. If that isn't a nerf, nothing is. You need to announce what server you're on before making comments, it DOES matter.

Alright, been on this site a while, never registered, but this thread alone, made me register. I'd like to say thank you for the submission, but this is garbage. I honestly wanted to test this properly, so, being my usual self, I spent 2,000,000g on magic find gear, the best I could possibly find so as little error could occur as possible. In the end I had 428 magic find.

After 100 total runs (For best odds, 100 runs is best percentage wise, followed by 1000 and increasing further).

The total numbers for this investigation are as follows.

100 Runs
142 blues - 13 of which were put on the Auction House for 10,000 <
1 Rare - Vendored - An absolute piece of garbage, the worst rare that could have ever possibly been found.
0 Legendaries
0 Patterns


To make it fare, In 100 runs, I made a large sum of gold from this, a little over 250,000, so not too bad, but the loot drops were absolutely terrible. And the whole, getting camped part didn't help either, it is too frequent that chests / Armor - Weapon Racks / Impaled Angels will spawn an Overseer that will charge you, and (In magic find gear) one shot you.

Thanks for the post, but I deem this unworthy and not worth the slightest amount of time to farm.

It does yield a larger portion of blues, at 100 runs a little over 291 blues - 61 rares - 0 legendaries - and 0 patterns.

Magic Neck With 38% magic find = 89%

Magic Shoulders with 29% = 118%

Rare Chest with 47% = 165%

Magic Gloves with 33% = 198%

Holy shit 69 mf on ring? 52 on a ring? some of those numbers are crazy...no items on the ah even close to numbers that high
