ThunderFury Reroll Question?

I found a TF today, it rolled with really low lightning damage, so i ended up rerolling it to posion. My concern is that is it better to reroll it as lightning dmg or does the element not have a difference. thanks

Afaik, element has no effect other than like... cold I think.

the only way to change the dmg of the weapon to reroll on other items +lightning damage,so the procc itself deals more damage
