What to Do before release?

Im us Obviously... And i hear to start at midnight (9pm pst) by killing diablo so u go right threw to the next act....

Now would it be a better idea to reset your quests just before you kill him and have a friend give you the WP to diablo? that way your gauranteed the legendary drop off him?

Also.. Is it better to just wait till 70 to kill the final boss in Act 5 because of his Legindary drop or is it the same as if you reset your quests..?

and if you bot does any of this matter.. lol
