Dupe method floating around or ?

I think it's not an exploit you can repeat very often by yourself.
Here is how I think it might work:

You take the precious items you want to have duped on your account.
You have to know when blizz takes a "screenshot" of your account meaning there are points in time when blizz saves your account as it is in case you get hacked, so they can restore it to a previously saved state.
Then, when you think or know that your account was saved, you take all items you want to dupe and move them to another account.
Assuming your account was saved with all the items you want to dupe, you go and report your account got hacked. They will tell you to which point they are able to restore your account to and if it's the right day/time, you accept to do it and they restore all items you recently moved to another account.
You just "legitimately" duped items.

The downside:

Your account becomes illegible to use the auction house UNLESS you buy an authenticator. If you restore your account 2 times, you are not allowed to use the AH ever again (with the respective account),

I never reported my account hacked ever, so all information is only second hand.

That is terrible advice. It worked in the first week. Now you just get banned or stripped for trying it. I suggest you do a little research before you tell someone to do something that will get them banned. There have been several people here trying this recently and it didn't end well.

I never advised to try it. I never did anything like it myself. It's an explanation for the method they might be using.
I suggest you do a little reading before implying anything.

I really think there is a dupe method going around, been checking a lot of forums posts and what not... Found out one of the dupers "Faetal#1991" just had every item unequipped from his profile which is totally suspicious, also here is a post he made on the official forums - Duping confirmed. - Forums - Diablo III

I really wonder if anyone around is aware of this method and knows how to do it
