Won't be any good now.
I had luck with unbanning my WoW account by calling them.
I bought 2 accounts put both in my name. Vanilla at the time.
Gave one to my brother in law at the time, he played at my house.
He moved out and stopped playing, I gave the account to a friend, he played on a completely different IP.
we both quit wow for about a while, about a year.
Came back for BC, we both played, he played at my house or at his, then we started having problems with getting banned for multiple IPs. I called said he was my adopted son and that if they look they would see the ips, and that his mother and I split up but I still take care of him as my own... and that it is really inconvenient... I told them that they would those 2 long time customers if this further frustration continued. I never had a problem after that day.
Well we quit again... for a LONG while. Turns out my friend either sold the account or gave it away (he says he gave it to his cousin but I doubt that was the truth, it was being billed to a phone bill [also I don't know how that was setup]). I came back for WOTLK, botted without a problem for about a year, bought gamecards with gold, never paid for shit. I then quit playing for a long time, and then Cata came out, I wanted to see what happened to that other account in my name, turns out it was banned for botting, I told them that I a had quit, and they would see that both accounts quit at the same time the first time, and that I never reactivated it myself and I have no idea about the botting on it (which was actually true). Account was restored and they sent it to some GMs for review, I didn't bot on my main account much after that. As I didn't want to get banned. I do not bot in D3.
I really also want to know whats the best strategy to write in the ticket.
tbh i would not know what to come up with if it is not "i got hacked"
original and not crazy and unique explanations for having an account run literally almost 24/7 for over 1 week? maybe those who can pull that off multiple times should consider a career in writing fiction in addition to botting
I sent a fairly kiss ass ticket in, saying I play with my kids, it's summer, we play alot, etc... Said we didn't use any 3rd parties to play, etc etc. Even threw in a "my wife thinks this is the best thing to get us out of the house, lol" for some humor... None of it worked. I don't see anything working, but if someone does manage to get an account back, let's hear how it went down.
i think, if you made much money via RMAH they are not going to unban you... i assume they cannot refund the money.

Blizzard blues have stated this is not the case. If it was, all Wine emulator users would be banned. They made a statement that they only banned people who were using the Wine emulator AND exploiting. Namely there was a local clock exploit specifically for Wine that was being abused to nefarious ends (mostly in the AH).
This is old, but lol

That's bullcrap, don't listen to most people that claim they can get unbanned. They are usually just scammers in the end or good writers is all.
I even paid an elite member 10$ for one. Never got anything. Trust no one and just try yourself. Be scholarly about it and clever.
EDIT: My report of some avast trojan on another forum to blizz saying I was keylogged didn't work on the one acct.
Thank you for your continued correspondence. After a thorough final review of the action taken against this account, we have arrived at the same conclusion. The action will not be reversed or changed under any circumstances.

Yeah there's no good template.. I used an excuse that I felt was best for my situation and they replied back with no.
I just happened to change my IP a ways back so I used that to try and say I had been out of town last couple weeks and haven't played, came back and was banned. If they looked at IP it would have shown that it did change but regardless it was still a no. I did have an authenticator on my account and the odds of someone hacking that are too slim right? I feel like the I got hacked excuse can only work if you dont have an authenticator. I dunno though.
this made my day lol
if i had written an unban-email i would have written something exactly like that
knowing this does not work, someone should try explaining their account activity by something like "I am the supervisor of a local orphanage for korean kids. I make them compete for extra pudding, by having them do sarkoth runs. The 24/7 activity should thus be self explanatory."
would be fun to see if the blizzard employee charged with responding to this mail would show some humor![]()
They offered to remove my old key and add a new one if I send them a new key. Has anyone done this? Do they delete all your characters when they do this?
