Question about buying/selling gold

Hi -- not sure where I should put this since it it's not a WTB/WTS but more of a how-to buy/sell kind of question. I'm new to OwnedCore, and have very little to verify my status here besides a "verified paypal" account as well as a donator to the site....which I understand are probably not the most impressive feats to ease people's minds when selling to me. I'm trying to buy gold but am having a hard time finding people who trust someone who's relatively unknown. Any suggestions on how to sort of "break in" to the industry?

Hey, first off, welcome to OC.

Gaining trust here will depend on your honesty..as well as your cooperation. To be honest, it's 50/50 that you'll end up getting scammed but with precautionary measures, you can prevent that. As a seller, I would ID new members as proof that they are who they say they are.. And if their ID doesn't match the name of their PayPal account, I would immediately assume something out of the ordinary. This is where you step in. If buying, be cooperative with the seller but keep in mind that they have every right to refuse. Selling will be a little tough at first because of your low rep but you can increase that by showing a little involvement in the forums.
