    Paypal experts please help!

Hey guys so basically what happened:

I sold a DB Key to a guy. Now after 17 days of the guy who bought it using it, hes trying to refund the money. He bought the key as a Product and added the following in the buyer comment: "If i can prove that i wrote a email to bossland within !!!!5!!!!! days that i moved the key to his buddauth a refund shall be avoided".
Now there was no complaint after 5 Days.
Yesterday after 17 Days he bought it hes trying to refund (i checked demonbuddy forum and saw that him reporting in the banned section about his accounts being banned so i guess thats why hes trying to refund now or maybe because he paid 200 bucks for it and can buy it now for much cheaper from bossland).
However i have already spent all the money he sent me and deleted the paypal account but i still got the email from paypal. I have already talked to paypal and they said its still possible to provide my comment in the "Buying conflict" so that the conflict will be decided in my favor.

So my question is: Is there a chance to win for me since he bought a maybe virtual good (db key) as a product and said in the buyer comment if i can prove that the email is written to bossland within 5 days refund shall be avoided. I mean i couldnt refund him anyways since i already spent the money + deleted my account (it was verified btw). So what chances of winning does he have since it must clearly sound fishy to paypal that hes refunding after FIFTEEN days but added in the buyer comment that if thers nothing wrong after 5 days a refund shall be avoided.

The conflict states that the article he bought doesnt match the article explanation. (There was none ? he bought a db key off me which is still OK ?

Paypal also said i need to take aciton within 10 days and explain otherwise it will be decided in his favor which i dont want but my question is can i even win and have a chance ? Or should i just ignore everything since i spent the money already and deleted the account.

    Help appreciated

I don't really understand what you wrote. More or less - if he claimed he received the item, then you are entitled to the money. That simple. Now if he is requesting unauthorized access...that's a diff story.

In any case, if you can't provide valid shipping details ( in virtual goods it's nearly impossible to win a dispute ) then my friend, sorry but you are screwed.

I wouldn't be too worried - it is a lot harder to win chargeback than for the seller to keep the money. You can use the forum posts you see to prove the account was banned and demonstrate that it was his motive for trying to get back the money. I'm sure there is a 15 day gap between when he paid you and when he started posting?

If he's filing an unauthorized transaction with the purchase, you have a very slim chance of winning. I've learned that PayPal always takes the buyers side more than the sellers. With that note, PayPal also doesn't back up virtual goods sales so even if you had proof of selling it.. They probably wont help you. But each case is different and they have plenty of agents that differ with cooperation and such so it doesn't hurt to try. Ive been scammed once related to selling IGG, and I was pretty organized with my defense too. I provided screenshots of chat logs, the in game transaction, etc. and I still couldn't win.

Even better, you should **** him over by winning the chargback and then contact Blizz saying your account was hacked for the last two weeks and get it back and unbanned :-)

well he bought a db key as a product so i cant provide shipping details. However his own buyer comment states that after 5 days a refund shall be avoided. So that must kind of sound fishy to paypal too?
Also he did **NOT** claim unauthorized access, he claimed that the article he bought does not match the article explanation.

So are you sure i have no chance of winning ? Because i already spent the money and deleted the account so i have nothing to loose anyways lol, but its sitll annoying that this scummbag is scmaming people

This is surprising to hear, I don't hear about charge back wins very often. I didn't think Paypal offered the same buyer protection for virtual goods

well thats probably because every screenshot, email etc is too easy too fake to take as serious evidence, but still sucks. Howver he did not claim unauthorized access, he just claimed that the article does not match the article explanation.

so he did **NOT** claim unauthorized access, he jsut claimed that the article does not match article explanation, however there is no article explanation because its a virtual good. Also 15 days after he bought it, while he added in buyers comment that it should be avoided if theres nothing wrong after 5 days
