Am I banned?

Hey guys I'm not sure what's going on with one of my accounts.. I bought it off someone here on OC and worked fine for a couple of days... Till today I can't seem to login.. Says password Error. I changed the email to my email and changed the password got the Secret Question Answer... But can't login nor can I log into Battle.Net with that account... If my Diablo 3 is banned does that mean my Battle.Net account is banned as well with other games inside that account?

it will say its banned if it is.. if it says wrong password someone jacked the account back is my guess

go baltenet and check your d3 account sattus if it says: ACTIVE it means dude sits in your account if it says BANNED ...figure out your self

I can tell you one thing: they won't ban your whole bnet account.

If you can't login, you can't login because you have wrong login info. If you are banned - it will say you are banned.

If you can't log in you're not banned, you probably got scammed and the guy that sold you the account has changed the password again.

its very safe buying here, just need to choose who you buy from carefully.

Buying accounts is NEVER safe.

Here are some things that can happen.

1. Account might be bought with stolen credit card / paypal
If that happens and the money gets pulled back by the orignal owner your account will get locked until you pay up

2. Account seller contacts Blizzard to restore the account
When you create an account you need to enter your real name, if the owner does so he is always able to get access
to the account back by providing a picture of his ID or something similar, there is also no way to change the name
in your account other than official documents that you had your name changed

So my best guess is that someone ripped you off, if you want to buy stuff like that the best thing you can do is buy from
well known people in communities who already got positive feedback on previous sales or things like that.

It is way too easy to rip people off with B.net accounts now. They can sell it to you with all the info and then report it hacked and get it all back. There are plenty of trust worthy sellers on here that would not do that to you though. I would contact the seller and make sure to report him as a scammer. If you payed by CC with paypal then just charge him back.

Yeah I paid by paypal I just made a dispute. Thanks guys. As I'm speaking to him on skype he says that blizzard banned both Diablo and WOW which are on the account thats why I can't login to battle.net but I don't even play WOW.... this guys such full of crap...

I had a similar experience. What if I paid via PayPal as a gift? I cannot dispute via problems with product, only unauthorized transaction.

I have accounts with banned wow bots on them. You can still log into battle.net. It will just show that your game is banned. He is lying to try and dodge the chargeback. Good luck on getting your money back. Its hit or miss with paypal unless you used a CC and charge him back through them.
