Blizz just unbanned my account from botting menu

    Blizz just unbanned my account from botting

    So I was running a bunch of bots yesterday and got hit by the ban wave, so I logged onto each account and created a ticket claiming that I was hacked.

    They were real weird, they replied to a couple accounts fast but took 12-24 hours for others.

    Out of 14 accounts they would not unban, but one account they said if I fill out the recovery form and send in my ID I can get my account back. So I did this and BAM just now got my account back with all my gold/characters on all realms.

    The only thing I can think of is that this is the only account that I had a phone number attached to, all the other accounts had the same contact info (name, credit card, etc) except they did not have a phone number attached.

    Some more info:

    This was my 2nd oldest account
    Over 500+ mil collect
    Using VS/immortal 24/7
    Farming gold in the core
    No other hacks
    This account I happened to activate RMAH thus why I had a phone number attached to it

    Just to be clear, did you use identical contact info for 14 accs? And did you get unbanned on an account that runs 24/7 all week?

    I was also able to recover my account that had a phone... thing is, when I tried to recover other 2 (they were 13), the new GM refused and went to ban the unbanned account again, so stupid, and the new banning e-mail now claimed "exploitation of game mechanics" LOL. So yeah, 13 accounts lost.

    I woulda been happy with 1, if they see you are trying to recover them all under the same IP, it might throw them off.
