Hes talking like hes got a gun to his head or he had to go to court...I think this friday is the day he has the option to Cash out from whatever is left from Paypal money and dissappear if he wanted to since it will have been 45 days since the charge backs. and u only get 45 days to chargeback.

unless the paypal account is still locked, it can take 6 months to get it back again from paypal

it seems pretty obvious now he is in a court case or some other legal matter with them that is stopping him. paypal wouldn't be because even with all the paypal issues he still kept the forums going and kept updating the bot.

i have a strong feeling he is in a legal battle currently and for legal reasons he is having to stay quiet, keep the site down etc.

maybe there is someone tech savvy enough to search the internet for legal battles involving blizzard going on? surely there has to be some news somewhere if it is legal related.

Regardless of his current circumstances, barring being assassinated by Blizzard's Ninja Hit Squad, being hospitalized due to illness or accident or rotting in a jail cell somewhere (for whatever reason not related to VS.)

Not keeping the forums and site up or finding alternative means to communicate with his paying customers does him no good whatsoever, and is not in the least bit fair to his customers.

We obviously understand that the "Lifetime" support that we were offered is not to be interpreted as for the remainder of your natural life,
but we also obviously understand that 30 - 60 days of support is on no planet, including ours, to be even remotely similar to "Lifetime"

Even hamsters live for more than 60 days.

Could you link to the source of your news, and maybe come up with a plausible hypothesis as to why we're not hearing this from the developer himself?
If he's still alive and able bodied enough to be working on a new update that is.

Surely no one could possibly think that their customers would not mind in the least, if you as a service provider
just completely stopped communicating with them, became uncontactable and took your site offline for over a week?

The site is not off line everything is still registered and on line. Do some research, its not reachable atm because like I said he is busy. IF the site was off line the domain would be cancelled and sold ect ect ect.

Is this purely speculation or do you know the developer personally, if so, could you relay to him that it's seriously in his best interests to become contactable again and to communicate with his users before the mass chargebacks begin as the 45 day mark approaches?
