so ima gonna call blizzard now to try to recover my banned accounts

5 of my accounts got banned with immortal yesterday.

any tips how I can approach the phonecall? of course I won`t mention all 5 accounts, only 1 account per all.


I run all accounts on one PC
Here and then I logged them in with a VPN (usa, spain, ukraine, seychelles etc.) but not all the time, mostly from my origin country UK

1 hour after the ban yesterday I switched to egypt VPN and changed the password for all of my accounts.




what do, how should I act?

maybe you could go with an "I got hacked" approach. I don't see why anyone would change their region around like that. im sure they can still resolve the VPN to the same company or whatever though

Before you call, just food for thought.

I'm going to assume you kept a clean primary account? Just feel happy they didn't ban that one and move on. If you did gold transfers from those 5 banned accounts to that one primary account, that phone call could just make things worse for your legit account. Magnifying glasses never help ants get out of trouble. Buy 5 more and cut your losses?
If you lost everything then I guess you can try to get them back but good luck. *shrugs*

Once you fail to get them back, I recommend your next account registered to a different email address than the previous 5 as you just raised attention to them. I don't know if using a previously banned email may put your email address on a "watch" list for the in game support staff but it doesn't hurt to be paranoid.

Are people calling to to appeal or trying to get unbanned, actually admitting to botting? I mean, having worked in customer service before, it's pretty easy to spot a made up sob story. When bans do happen, I have faith Blizzard has pretty sufficient evidence. I just always assumed when my time came and I was banned, I'd call up and just try the honest approach. "Yeah, I was cheating and got caught. Can I please have a second chance?". If a customer service rep has any ability to unban an account, I'd be more inclined to help that person than the one going "I wasn't botting, I swear!".

I'm hoping its as easy to get unbanned as it was on WoW. I got perm banned like 15 times on WoW and everytime I Just sent them an email saying idk why I was banned and they just unbanned me.
