I don't think there's really anything people can narrow down to causing the bans since people are being banned for multiple types of bots and scripts using different forms of automation. Either Blizzard is having trouble catching everyone or they are doing it on purpose to entice more people to replace their accounts if they don't all get banned
Like people on hb forums have only 5/10 accounts banned or 1/10, or 2/4, etc. all running on the same machine for the same amount of time. So it's kind of hard to determine what's going on with partial bans.
I personally have been running 24/7 since the 2nd week of release and have yet to be banned. I've only used hellbuddy with no other outside scripts or programs though.
I have been botting like a ****ing mad man with Immortal Bot. Yet to be banned!
no one is asking the Obvious Question about how many clients they were using from the same PC- i have a hunch that single users were safe, but people running Vm and mulitiple accounts from the same computer may have been targeting- easier to spot to seeing how you would have mulitiple clients coming from the same ip address
you do share the same ip address based on the router. You can also change your ip address in CMD.
ipconfig /release then ipconfig /renew
So for blizzard, 2 vmware and 2 people playing from the same house is the same ?
