because blizzard isnt going to hype the **** out of a game like D3, which they probably expect to sell like crack in harlem. Still no word on preorders, special collectors editions, more heroes, bosses, zones, etc.

of course it was =P I doubt blizzard planned to stop making the diablo series for like 10 years.... it mostly happened as a result of World of Warcraft taking up most of their time. Notice how they have not released any other games since its release? They are noticing the numbers of WoW players to start dropping, so they are trying to grab them again with SC2 and D3.... which will work =P
