You can give any account bound gem to other player.

Just insert it to any item and give item to another player (after salvage or remove gem from item).
Tested, it works.

I'm a little behind on JC to craft imperials, Don't think I can run T either to get 'em as drops. I hope someone can confirm else I'll in a couple of days hopefully.

Doesn't work either. Tested it yesterday and i can CONFIRM that it's not working.
