ZK botters are now being banned - BE WARNED!

A bunch of people botting ZK were banned today, including myself who lost 5 accounts.

Note that I had never used any exploitation outside of AutoHotKey (private script) and ZK runs. I played normally, one was my main account, 4 friends of mine, and I was in Inferno Hardcore Act 2. I played, and botted at night for backup characters and gold using only ZK.

They're probably banning for suspicious activity. This is the FIRST wave that has affected ZK bots! Be warned!

was using combo of ib and hb doing core runs, i have never touched another bot, except for those two.

I'm not suggesting it was ONLY ZK botters being banned, but this is the FIRST wave that grabbed ZK botters.

And you're sure it wasn't an IP ban or something? Maybe they linked your main account with other accounts using a bot? Did you ever move gold between your main account and any associated account that was using a bot/script of some kind for gold farming?

I don't know for fact what it was, but there are multiple reports saying that this banwave included people that only ever did ZK. I never moved gold between accounts as I only had 1 account (and the 4 accounts I loaned from friends). It may be an IP ban, but ZK was the root cause as that is the ONLY thing ever being run on my machine and on my account.

Using a bot, only those 5.

In the past I did the 10x ZK exploits to level to 50 on about 10 accounts, but this was pre 1.0.3.

i used exploited to lvl up, but that was without any bots..boy did it take a long time >

I'm kinda new to all this botting etc. I got lucky and my ZK accounts are still alive. But does anyone know how blizzards banning process works? Am I safe until next wave hits or should I like chill for a day or two?

I understand that theres always a risk with botting, but i would like to avoid it for as long possible.

No..... It's illegal for you to use 3rd party programs to grind the shit while you sleep or do other things. The way I feel about it is either play the game yourself or don't play at all. I have no sympathy for people who bot.

When you are banned, if you log in to the battle.net website and under the Diablo 3 game, what does it say under Status? Does it say Banned or Inactive or something?
