vernams works. no bad guys move and it doesnt save but it works.
Problem is that all that data is server based, and untill they have reversed engineered the data they wont move
Confirmed - 8101 branch works fine at the time of writing, with the MPQ files from the preceding posts![]()
Latest compatible version: 8101 (patch 9).

im danish so that why some of the text in there is a little hard to read
I had all this errors now they are solved. It seems that all the problems come from bad checksum of the mpq`s. I copied this from oonater forum.

Hey guys, im having a problem and I would like to ask ifany of you guys could help me - I have downloaded the latest patch for D3 and done the alterate MPQ files thing, ( putting them to C Drive etc etc ) but when I launch Mooege I get this:
[Error] [MPQPatchChain]: cannot find base MPQ file: CoreDatampq.
[Fatal] [Program]: Cannot run servers as MPQ storage failed intialization.
Please help, Thanks.
not sure what you mean totally. but you copy and paste your diablo 3 mpqs that it downloaded itself into the mpq folder that mooege comes with. I just copy and paste all of the contents, not sure if you need it all, but it works so i'm okay with that.
On a side note, after staying up really late two nights in a row getting this to work, recompiling different codes and what not, i have found that its not worth spoiling. The game looks awesome, and it looks like its going to be pretty cool and everything, but its buggy and not as official as i'd prefer. So good job mooege dudes. Rocks you can figure shit like this out, but now the wait is on.
One gay thing i noticed is the weird "plans" that enemies drop. They look huge on the ground and I dont totally get the concept.
I have downloaded and copy-pasta'd wawz files into my DIII directory. I run Mooege from my DIII directory, the window (when the text stops flowing) looks like this:
.
Diablo then opens without a hitch, but when I try to log in using account name "test@" and password "refreshments", instead of entertainment there is an error "315300". Is there a wizard wise enough or a doctor prudent enough to overcome this trifling vexation? Shit, I just wanna play some beta before the actual game comes out. Halp?
works fine , but monsters don't attack and I can't see any skill animations ( is that normal ?! )
Sadly yes, while it works that you get into the game the quests and monster ai dont work since its server based. So they would need to reprogram the ai and quest data to make it work.
Guys, im so freaking stuck I think if someone could add me on skype that would be a massive help!
Skype name: BlazingCraft
This is the error im getting
[Error] [MPQPatchChain]: Required patch-chain version 7931 is not satified (found version: 0).
[02.01.2012 13:16:36.967] [Fatal] [Program]: Cannot run servers as MPQStorage failed initialization.
How do I solve it?
Hi everybody !
First of all thank of all the people compiling these versions of mooege and the people having all those errors 'cause it makes the community progress everyday ^^
Notwithstanding i have read the pages before and couldn't find any answer to my problem preventing me from running mooge. So here's my contribution =p
I couldn't find the "System.IO.FilenotfoundException" error in previous posts as it was mainly overflows for what I've seen. I also tried redownloading 7841 patch and checking md5 (which never gave me the right md5 but after 20 downloads i decided to give up).Code:[ Info] [Program]: mooege v1.8101.4383.26024 warming-up..
