Hi I am gettign stuck at the "retrieving hero list" when trying to start the game. i have recopied all MPQ's and even tried starting the server exe using the run as administrator and without the run as administrator. I have also tried to delete the account.db file in the assets folder and this was also not successful. any help will be greatly appreciated.

Install sqlite. It can be found on the download guide on the mooege wiki.

Could someone please tell me which build has the most advanced quest system?

You don't have the right version of Diablo 3 to use Mooege. You need to roll back your diablo version to 7931.

Well you need to remember as well that you can't revert/roll back diablo 3. Unless someone can prove me wrong, initially installing the game will bring you up to roughly version 0.5 or something, and once the update takes place you immediately hit the new version. So if you're updated to version 8 then you're essentially unable to play the game until a new and updated emulator has been released.

hey all! so I downloaded 12/20/11 update for my D3 beta V0.5 something and in my understanding, you dont need to do anything to the folder like visual studio etc just copying and paste MPQs... So I started Mooege and the last line it says Moonet Is listening to port 0.0.0.0.0 something. I figured that the server is set and I can log in. But when I try to log in using test@ it disconnect me in "Authentication" and giving me Error 3005. I looked around Mooege and it says Error: [AutenticationService] : Client[test] doesn't match required version 7931, disconnecting...
So in Diablo 3 screen = Error 3005
and Mooege screen = [AutenticationService] : Client[test] doesn't match required version 7931, disconnecting...
Anyone can help me with this.

Possibly. But at the same time, there aren't any links up for a bunch of MPQ files to be able to utilize to revert, since nobody really figured this would be an issue.

I guess this should work if someone still got the Latest compatible version: 7931 (patch 7)

if yes, you can send us all the files inside DIABLO 3 folder, my opinion this is a waste of time since we need to workout how to make a server compatible with the patch 8
