Nono man, I couldn't change my reso even when I just launched D3 .. graphics changes to maximum only then I choose "full windoed screen" or something like that.. then the reso choices disappear and it changes to tha max I guess, cuz then the game graphics is awesome.

I play on Xel's dedicated server everytime when i can.
Thats far i realized those things:
Account system started to work?! (Password can be anything, but if you log in to a E-Mail address, you going to see your char)
Char System: 1 Email, 1 Character, i dont know it is only till the server is not restarting, but its good
If you want to make a char, with same name, you are going to have 1004 Error Code.
Logging In: You can't, "Request Timed Out"

I've done all the things stated in the guide but for some reason i get stuck at "Retrieving Hero List" anyone else got this problem that can help?

My friend had this issue last night, after narrowing down the issue I got him to install Microsoft Visual C# 2010 and he got it working after that.

Hello. I downloaded the game and used this folder that @john007 posted. First i started D3Sharp.exe and than the game from game shortcut. The game is updated to the newest version, i entered user and pass, than i created character and clicked on "Champain" than "Start" and i got this "error" message:

"Discconected from server:

The game assets betweene the client and the server don't match.
---OK---"

I click "OK" and another error message...

"CONNECTION WARNING!!!!!!

SnoPackSnash Mismatch betweebe client and server. Proceed at your own risk.
---OK---"

When i click "OK" it sends me back to main menu.
What should i do to start the game with out this error messages? Thanks.

I was confused when I copied the new version over the old, but I finally managed to capture what goes where
I started the game with a barbarian, and 10 minutes after I got out just to write you this, I am impressed with your work so far and I think that this proect going to be better than the original version of Blizzard's beta.

i also have no monsters and still only able to play monk....did i miss an update somewhere i check this post like every 5hrs???

I created this account just to say thank you. Worked first try for me. I even was able to get a friend to join my d3sharp server from his house. Although we couldn't be in the same party we could chat back and forth which was cool.

Hey signed up to say TY for your efforts but im having a problem with one of the steps

12 ) Copy the config.ini and 'assets' folder from the sources to the same folder with the exe

I have never used visual studio befor and im having problems copying the config file and assets folder. i tryed just right click copy but when i go to past in the folder with D3sharp the past is greyed out.. is there something simple im missing? is there a tool in visual studio to copy and past in this way.

sorry im not very computer savy but i can follow most instructions well if xel or anybody could help me with this i will love you forever

PS: just incase you need to know I'm running windows 7 64 bit

It is easier to do this from the folder itself instead of in visual studio just copy the two files from the D2sharp folder into the D3Sharp/bin/release folder.
