Protect yourself from chargebacks and unauthorized payments!

1) MOST IMPORTANT ONE: Use multiple Paypal email addresses. If you are a honest and legit seller, who cares what Paypal you are using? I say use as many as you can, disposable ones. Once the money are on those PP accounts, transfer to your safe one IMMEDIATELY. That way even IF a chargeback occurs, you can discard them. Might sound heartless but that's what works.

This is most definitely fraud against Paypal if you have no intention of repaying the negative balance against Paypal. YOU may feel that you are not responsible for the fact that you accepted funds from a potentially stolen account, but that does NOT give you the right to use false information on a Paypal account. So if that is not your intent then how do you propose that Paypal is going to allow you to sign up for multiple paypals under the same name with similar payment credentials.

SCAMMING and FRAUD are not allowed on OC.

Also through experience prior to 2009's forum clean up.... paypal WILL follow the trail if its a large amount. Don't believe its safe, and thats why it is fraud- i had to tell them (lie) i was minor and that their collection on me was unjust because minors shouldnt be registered on the site.- they believed it. but again what came of it- they did follow it.
