Yes if you don't bot anymore. You can usually consider your account safe anytime you stop botting. Unless they decide to ban whatever program you were using right after you stopped..

    ^ to everyone, no.

I once botted an account for a week or two (GH, gold)

I stopped botting it since it was my GFs and she might want to play again, 1.5 months later (over a month, yes) after 2 banwaves, the 3rd one hit and the account was banned, havent even logged into it for over a month.

Who the hell buys 100g in WoW honestly? I call b.s on some of these posts, these are pretty common amongst the forums the "i know someone who got banned" or "I got banned and only botted 1 minute". Stop with the silly questions and honestly think, if you bot you can be banned at anytime, any day, even after you stop botting for any length of time. My opinion is dont mess with the RMAH and try to sell your gold on it, gold is as low as $0.70 per/million and its only going to go down more, its a waste of time. Also botting within hours that people would normally play and taking a periodic break from time to time might lessen the risk. But as it says very boldly around the forums "You can get banned for using these programs, use at your own risk".

But like i said before avoid the RMAH if your worried about a ban....
