VMWare question

Sorry if this is a really bad question, but I read somewhere that when using VMWare you need to install the programs you want to use again into the virtual machine. Does this mean that if I want to use diablo in vmware I need to install again in the virtual machine, and does that mean it takes up twice the amount of hdd space?

A virtual machine is like a computer inside your computer, and it doesn't use the programs you have on your computer so yes you have to install diablo on it.

Alright thanks for the clarification, but if I have to install diablo again in it will it take up double the space. now that I have two copies installed?
