VMwave question please

Ive been playing around a little bit with vmware. Im using xp on the vm, but I feel its kinda laggy when playin d3 from vm. Would botting in 800x600 not give a smoother run. Also considering if i wanna run more than 1 vm.

Would multibotting in 800x600 not go smoother?
Also I have another question. Is it by any means possible to make scripts on the relative VMs run together. So you could join a game if needed?? Thanks
