I never read anything from the memory forum, but I know that if your program can somehow circumvent paging and read another process's virtual memory without hooking to the process, that will be a huge security issue of Windows. So that's either not likely to happen or injecting code to D3.

http://www.ownedcore.com/forums/diab...ct-warden.html (What action will detect by warden?)

I get that it isn't 100% safe, but I would think reading memory values is safer than actually macroing.

Well, according to the Wiki describing Wardon, it finds any executable in the processes, hashes it, sends the harsh value to Blizzard, and tries to match it with any known cheating program. Since AutoIT allows its script to be compiled to stand alone executable, any little change to the script will result in a totally different harsh value. Therefore, if the script is random enough, it's theoretically impossible for Wardon to detect its running.

it might be useful to read it every x'th run, and report the time in the statistics ('gold as per 14:01' or such)....
and you dont need to read every digit... just report 10 mil, 1.1 mil, or 0.1...etc... then you only need a few... i agree that it would slow down things for not too much use...
