To the guys who got banned and those still running, how are you running your bots? I mean, how long?

I used to run only on 8-10 hour intervals when I started, only 2 days ago did I run for more than 20 hours a day. I'm thinking that those of us who got banned where the ones running for a full day.

i would say that once u started botting, just bot all the way. because I'm sure that once u bot one day, blizzard had already eye on ur account because of the total gold picked and the pattern that you're doing.

No transfer?? whats sucks is that i spent about 15mil on my gf/mf gear recently and only botted for a couple days with it. Made some money from ah and rmah at least.

What's really funny is that just yesterday I bought over 200 million gold worth of gear from people, through trade not even n the AH so all that money is still in the economy lol. I got a sword with 100%crit chance and a socket and a ton of other stuff.

Something told me they might try this.... since everyone knows the Game Creation limit would be put in effect tomorrow... they KNEW peeps would be hitting it hard today....

I only had one account on and it was still chugging.

My other account was offline as I was watching some shows. I'm not very hopeful though...

The only potential saving grace is that I have never sold any gold or made any transfers... that might be a criteria for Warden.

But ;let's face it.. we KNEW this was coming... Blizzard intentionally left Sarkoth in place as bait. It was TOOO easy to fix it for them not to.

Wrong. Warden checks for files and see if you are using any sort of automation or if you are doing anything out of the ordinary for that matter. Most these guys who gets banned is due to some other things they do and may not be solely because of autoit. some example as follow,

1. RMAH issues (Address mismatch, no auth, security issues, tried out other exploits)
2. used third party programs (such as DB, HB, IB...)
3. Run their mouth on pubs/forums
4. sell gold
5. not playing other Qs but leave the bot on 24/7

I am sorry sir.. but you are wrong. Warden isn't a file checker but a data analyzer... they add custom modules to check for files and such... but ultimately is can track all sorts of statistics. Games created, gold traded, hours played, etc...

MANY MANY AutoIt scripts only runners just got canned.. including the author. It doesn;t use or access any D3 files whatsoever.

I guarantee Blizzard has this bot running and has develped criteria from it's operation (just like the custom bots) and have placed that data in the flagging/banning module.

Oh.. and the 3 day ban thing.. is the Forums.... the accounts are permabanned. You don;t have to have a D3 account to post in the D3 forums.. but you do get a 72 hour ban form them because of it. I believe that's to help keep the word about the banwave form spreading"

Yeah, got banned too, not to shocking. The odd thing is that while it says all my auctions were canceled, several gold auctions still completed after the ban email. So I don't know. Well, I was done with the game when I started doing this, and got more money back then what I paid for it. Maybe in a few years I can just pick it up again if there is some decent post game support.
