Blizzard is currently in the process of creating a game called Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft. Whether you have heard about it or not, this game is for those who love Blizzard games as well as trading card games. The game is based around the of lore of Warcraft, all wrapped into a tiny card game such as Magic: The Gathering. Blizzard is wanting to keep the "epicness" in the game, no matter how small the game is. Hearthstone is currently in beta for Windows and Mac OS, with an iPad version coming soon. Release date is currently not set yet however.
If you have played any Blizzard game, you will notice that Hearthstone has a lot of similarities as other Blizzard games. The mechanics of the game are similar to World of Warcraft.
In Hearthstone, you play as one of the nine Warcraft heroes in the Warcraft lore. You can create your own deck of cards and go against other players from around the world. You can either practice your deck composition against the computer, or if you think you are ready, go against a live opponent. The game is primarily based on strategy. The best strategy will win the match. Matches usually last up to 10 minutes, and winners get new card packs that include minions, spells, and abilities to help build their decks and make them stronger.
