I apologize... no you are not to guess. I'm here hoping that my contribution can help not just me but more people as well. Please note that I'm not complaining, just posting on the forum.

- I'm using the 4.7.7 version now to test this.
- I have the last files you made available for download and used unarchiver to extract them. I do see and read the files normally so I don't believe that would be the issue... Its how I've done since I started playing, on HC but I'm down to try something else if you recomment.
- The files were extracted on (MacOS system, which shouldn't be a problem, but I'm saying it anyways) '/Applications/World of Warcraft/_classic_/Interface/AddOns', which makes both folders "RXPGuides" and "RXP Leveling" to appear on this directory.
That does seem odd to me though... the previous versions posted here mentioned that we should use the files within "RXPGuides" folder. I also tried that and to use the >files< from "RXP Leveling" inside the "RXPGuides" folder and it didn't work.

Please let me know if I can somehow help or add more context. I also have a windows computer that I can test if anyone believes that it should work - I havent tried that because I never had problems with addons here as they are scripts only.

Why have you neve said mac before? Seeing the installation process is different.

Do you add an addon to an addon? That is like putting mac in mac and expect the 2nd mac to work.

Well someone on here was very kind enough to post how to install it on mac.

But also, people need 1 file.
Instead they take all files that zips them. Taking 2 files they do not need for what gain? Then they extract it and then they put the rar in the addons folder.

You want 1 file, you select and download 1 file. You extact 1 folder to the addons directory that it is.
Did people delete the saved variables because it is incompatible.
Would they delete it? No
Then they wonder why incompatibility because they do not want to delete problem files.

I remind you again, why extract an addon to the RXP addon? Have you ever done that.

Is the addon folder the same as the guides folder? No. So why do the same thing, when it is different.
I say to extract to addons. I said not to extract to the guides folder, so why do it and then complain it does not work?

Its working like this using The Unarchiver and on MacOS Beta for Tahoe. Addon version 4.7.7 on an almost fully cleared install of the game, just a few other addons installed.

I was posting my troubleshooting thinking that it could help, my goal was not to confront you or make you pissed like you seem to be on your replies and I believe I was very polite on all of my posts. I understand you are not a support agent - or at least you don't talk like one - so for the future maybe we should not seek for help here. You know for a fact it is not the same file from 5 months ago.
You also read the post before taking the file.

You see it is a different file and then proceed to install it like the file from 5 months ago. Knowing it is not the same file. Knowing you do not install an addon to an addon, but you and others still do anyway. Then you are like, it does not work, when you intentionally did not do it right.

Well people should not give me a hard time and harass me should they. But when they do, you say nothing.

Well I tell people what to do because it is an addon.
They then proceed not to do that and do something else. Then I am blamed for it not working because they did it wrong.
I am blamed for them downloading all files for 1 file.
I am also blame for some how, accessing someones PC to delete their addon. No idea how that happened.

Just 1 thing if I may.

How many addons have you installed?
Just wondering because this is the exact same procedure and you cannot do it right.
Also, are you like others and leave the settings behind and then expect incompatible settings to work like others?

The last 3 mac users used Unarchiver and no issues.

But in all this time you said it never worked?

I'm not saying you made instructions wrong nor pointing this at you - So much I even replied this without quoting you. I followed what you said, opened the game and it worked this time, for whatever reason.
My screenshot wasn't for you, it was for other people that had the same problem. It doesn't hurt for me to post a screenshot that maybe help.
It might be healthy for your blood pressure to stop feeling attacked by everything that is posted on this thread, just because you are the owner of it. Not everything is an attack but that might be just what you are used to.
