Is there a way to make retail ones work on Private server? I run a hermes 1.14.2 one I use the private server one but the retail one is superior and Wondered if can use it somehow.

Why would you want to run retail addon on a vanilla server? When the quests and data are not even the same. Why are you not using classic on vanilla and try to use retail?

Sorry, I guess my lack of english must be getting it confuseing, I play on a Hardcore private server (It runs on a 1.12 build but the boys from that communty made hermes to work on it too), and by retail addon I mean the retail Hardcore or classic era hardcore addon. I like that one better than the classic private server one because seems like it have better made guides and tools.

That would mean you would have to take the hc guides. Add them back to the addon that matches the patch of the server. Then try and fix all the incompatible issues. As it is new guides running in an old addon.

Well seeing the addon has issues, I thought it was best to wait until a few releases to update. Seeing they make so many alphas. Then I post an update and people say new update out! Thinking I will drop everything and then update.

Are the guides themselves updated as you update? Or is it JUST the addon?

I.e Does your update include the SoD rune updates?

The guides are not updated regularly. So I che k them now and again and not every time I update.
