I wasn't trying to be an *******. I was only stating that It worked before, now it stopped working. I am neither an Addon Developer nor do I have the Old version you uploaded so I can cross-reference (Dumb on my Part). The only thing that changed in my files was the new RXP update for 11.0.2 "v4.6.36" and the new download of the Guides.rar folder you uploaded. I've done everything you asked so far to no avail. I'm trying to get behind why it's not working all of a sudden myself.

I have told people what to do and no one wants to do it. So clearly where the issue is.

Same thing. We are really grateful. Was just trying to troubleshoot with you and explain that the download that got closed wasn't working as the war within guides didn't show up for many of us.

Let me quote what someone did

Got it work, Deleted both rxp file from every saved variable folder ( i mean go deep to the wtf one there is multiple entries even below your character name) , deleted rxp folder from /addons. Recopied 1 version older rxp from curse v4.6.35 and recopied the guides also. Relaunch game. profit?

They did exactly as I said and people here clearly do not want to do it.

Unfortunate that this is being met with so much hostility. I've deleted Addons and WTF and have done a fresh install, but in The War Within it only shows War Within Preparation.

i mean ive been using the addon for like 14 hours and its been fine, i update through curseforge and it breaks and ive tried extracting the guide folder like 15 times and it hasnt worked.

Well I ask you this. How would you feel with people complaining every day for the past 7 days for 8 hours a day.
Demanding the file is wrong.
Complaining about the file
Harassing
Abusive
Insulting
Refusing to take simple advice

So I ask you how would you feel? Can you answer that?

All because they cannot install an addon and claim it is impossible.

Oh lets take that further.

In DF when, same thing for the addon. But someone harassed me so much, they made over 86! accounts here, ban, new account harassment, ban repeat. No one ever said a thing, apart from the mods.

So I ask you just 1 thing, how would you feel when someone does not take your advice and their response to your kindness is to call you hostile.

Ok, so you extracted it once good.
Did you back up that same extracted folder, so you do not need to extract it again?

Then update the addon, copy over the folder to the addon, overwrite and done. Seeing that is the easy way to do it.

Sad to see the response to this. A lot of people are very grateful for effort like this, but its crazy to respond with so much hostility blaming people for not being able to extract a file. I was able to download the file before it was removed. Forget installing it in the addon folder, look at the raw content in the lua files from the download. Heres the results of a search for 'war within' in the files in that folder. The only results that come up at the 'Preparation' subgroups that have already been mentioned.

It's not a matter of people 'not fully extracting' the file. The .rar file does not contain the correct groups.

I understand your frustration, and I have to appologize if my wording was somehow rude. I am extremely grateful for your upload. I'm simply trying to find out how to get it working. I'm following all the steps you've posted thus far as best I can. It was working yesterday, today after update it stopped working. And I'm seemingly not the only one where the update broke the addon. I did not backup before the update, which I should have read to do before, instead I downloaded your guides.rar again. So I only have those 2 points of failure to go off of. I was hoping this helps narrow down the possible cause of issue.

You know what, seeing I am the problem, how about I delete the thread.
You talk about hostilely , take a good look at yourself!

Oh does not contain the correct groups? Then it is a 100% copy what I have and works for me and others.
But other people that have the exact file it does not work.

Same people on here, refuse to do what I said to do

Someone on another forum did and it worked for them. But people on here refuse to do what I say. But they call me hostile for saying what to do.
