I'd like to change my Male Tauren to a Female n811.
Is this possible ? Male -> Female ? If yes could you please describe this ruffly.

EDIT: Ahhh k found the answer on my self just had to add (in the replace part of irfan view), Female -> Male ... Rest worked the same ^^ thanks you very much never wanna see that fat cow again ^^

Hmm nd hmm again. I made it! Made my human male to UD male! The problem i got is that i can't make Night elfs to UD males.
I thing i got to change the SCOURGE files to NightElf manually or something cos no matter what i do it just wont work. And i am following ur guide step by step

Can u tell me if there's something wrong with that or not ?

SCOURGE to NightElf:

When you re-name your elf files you want it to be,
(Male to Male) Replace Text 1 "Scourge" - With "NightElf"
(Male to Female) Replace Text 1 "ScourgeMale" - With "NightElfFemale"
(Female to Male) Replace Text 1 "ScourgeFemale" - With "NightElfMale"
(Female to Female) Replace Text 1 "Scourge" - With "NightElf"

The UD are SCOURGE, but the .blp files and the .m2 file's Are Scourge. so the rename prosses will contain Scourge, as opposed to SCOURGE.
Hope this has helped.

NOTE:
The New ME.fix is out. Your race edits should be working properly agian,

If you are experiencing problems, Try to delete your Race edit. the patch-4.MPQ and make another. (10-10-07)

Hi, I changed my Draenei to a Broken and it came out perfectly, I tried to change my troll to a worgen and the model came out fine, but he's just a plain white color all around, I tried to take the brown worgen skin and named it TrollMaleSkinBrown (like the cat druid skins) but it doesn't seem to work, know if it's possible to change the color or am I SoL?

Can't find out how to do it, not sure if it's possible since the worgen are creatures and thus only have a model and a color and no blps. I tried changing the name to TrollMaleSkin00_00 and all of the others types, but none are working. Oh well, I can live with an all white model :P

If you want to change your Character texture to a Creature Texture your at the wrong place, try following a Race to Creature Guide, heres a link:

Hey,

I am having a problem when I open up my common.MPQ I see CHARACTER on the left hand side and can extract that fine, however I do not see the Character file that needs to be extracted. When I do patch.MPQ I see both CHARACTER and Character. Is there something I can do to fix this?

Hi, Im having problem logging in with the skins, becouse as soon i hit "Home" or "Shift+7" (on numpad) it says "Unable to validate game version. This may be caused by file corruoption or the interference of another program. Please visit blizzard support.." etc.

Same problem as outkastdrizzt - except when I open common.MPQ I see both CHARACTER and Character when I open patch all I get is CHARACTER

I love your guide so far, but I've come accross one problem, in the texture folder I created after copying over the CHARACTER and Character folders over to there, I can't seem to find a Female folder inside the NightElf Folder. Only Male is there. I tried doing a repair on WoW, same results as last time. If you can help me find out what the problem is, it would be greatly appreciated, thank you.

Did you extract the CHARACTER and character folders from common.MPQ and patch.MPQ?
