I dont write a guide to then make the thing for people who are too lazy to do it on their own.
Ok, i will try and take a look at it.
Btw; Is there any way of changing my chars hair? In a not-to-hard way. Atm my UD female doesnt have any hair at all, wich kinda sucks.
Yes there is. There might be a guide anywhere on the forums.
But i dont suggest trying this thing unless you mastered the helmfix.
Hey! I tried doing a helm fix for NE Male to Orc Male. And failed miserably does the files for Orc Male conversion and the fix have to be synced? (Patch-4 and Patch-5) or something. I thought i did everything right on your guide.
please give the treepath of a file in your patch-h.mpq (rightclick | copy treepath) or upload the .mpq.
bleh dunno if i messed up or not but i tried 6-7 times still no good...wtb gnome male-tauren male helm fix
then post your result. in this way, nobody can help you. and still: no requests in here ...
Very nice guide, managed to do it myself without much problems. Adding a link to the patch-h file i created : Orc malel head to BE male head patch-h.mpq - FileFront.com

Wondering if theres any guide for changing character sizes... atm my draenei is kidda big.
First off let me say good guide.
Ok, on the business.
I tried it and got it to work to an extent, for some reason the hair pops out of the helm, do you have any idea what I did wrong?
You did nothing wrong. But for your race/gender/helm combo the hair isn't hidden.
You'd have to change this in ItemDisplayInfo.dbc or HelmetGeoVisData.dbc.
Thanks for the fast reply, I tried looking for threads that could clue me in on how to edit the .dbc files but I failed at that hunt .
Could you tell me or direct me to a thread on to how to do this?
