Swapping other files might require a MEF.

well my common.MPQ seems to be ****ed up now since my druids hair is green and females dont have cloths on... and I was simply trying to change char to char

So i tried this method becuase i'm trying to get back into model editing but it didn't work for me. Why is it that all the files ive downloaded from the simple model edits section that work are called CreatureDisplayInfo.dbc? how do you work with .dbcs?

EDIT: i tried following your instructions exactly and it turns out i could get the booty bay statue to change. however when i tried it with creatures i could never get it to work. am i doing it wrong? does it not work for creature edits?

well oke first i have to say, i succesfully edited my hunter pet (gorilla) into an abyssal fire elemental
but there is one problem: the gorilla has only one skin.blp, the abyssal 2

tried swapping "orc male" into "Taunka male" i got taunka skin from lichking MPQ, but i cant get it to work, followed your guide :/

why don't you use TotalMPQ (plugin for Total Commander)? it's much more easier to use. just like ordinary archive zip/rar (link).

Well i switched DwM to TaM everything seems to work but when i try to use any spell i get wow error
