This is awesome! Is it possible to make something as simple as this for race->race swaps?

I have added the source code to the first post if anyone is interested, you will need a SVN client to download it.

I've done a great job with the App Glitchy and it's working perfectly so thank you so much for it
I was wondering if it is possible to swap spells in 4.0.1 and if you were thinking of making a similar App for that if so ?
Thx for giving me a reason to play WoW again ;D

So what do we do with missing cached items? Can you add them manually or just wait for patches?

No you cant add them manually(you might be able to but it would require a lot of work and fully understanding the adb file) as for as patchs if you mean blizzard patchs im guessing they left out this items for a reason, why i don't know for now there is nothing i am able to do.

Im just having trouble with cached items (tabards to be specific). They showed up in your last version, but are no where in this one. Was just wondering if you knew anything about the issue?

what version? the version that was for 3.0? if so they completely changed the file format in 4.0 so not every thing is going to be the same.

You also have to loog in on your character to see the swaps, you wont see them in the character selection :P

    4. Yes. Tried also with \ADB, but that wasn't accepted. Also copied the \Cache directory to another location (directly beneath the ModelSwap dir). Didn't work.
    5. Win7 x64, tried with compatibility mode to XP and Vista, no joy.
    6. Updated .NET, no change.

    // Edit
Where does it store the path information? I always have to rename the file / move to another directory to see the select cache dialog again, and for the life cannot find the saved path in the registry.

im guessing this has to do with the fact that you are not on an enUS client, if you zip up your cache folder and upload it somewhere and link it here i might be able to fix it. To me it looks like a problem with the way the strings are read becuase of the language. I will not be able to fix this unless i have a sample to work with.

Edit: I have also update the download link for those of you who cant download from raidshare (although if you like my work download from here as it help pay for my rapidshare account)

This is how I did it:

1st: I logged into the game with one of my toon
2nd: I started the ModelSwapper with admin rights, waited to load in, and loaded my toon's items from the armory
3rd: Selected my head slot item from the "cached items" section to be swaped
4th: Selected the item from "the swapable items" I want to swap for.
    5th: Clicked on Swap
    6th: Checked my toon ingame
    7th: nothing happened

    sad panda.
