Check this. This only occured if you left a stringfield empty as it then is null and considered not yet filled out. Empty stringfields get now filled with "".

Basically, yes. You can just change the name of the spell or its client side requirements (which will also be checked server side) and all the other client side properties of the spell.

i believe that my server hasn't server-check for this, because i try with the cache edit and it doesn't work.
but this edit the dbc of the client, so "may" work as well.

What would REALLY be nice would be the Model and Skin fields inside ItemDisplayInfo.dbc. Adding custom displayid's(eg 80000, not just REPLACING a model) = pure win. Though, I was only able to edit existing spells. I tried adding a custom one but it didn't work..
