On number 4 adding objects I'm not following the rest of the guide because I only want to edit existing zones. So when going into Tallis I add the objects about 14 of them give them cords and go into NoggIt. After I get into NoggIt I see that the terrain has changed to a desert like state not a grassy plane. Has this happened with anyone?

It happens if you don't place the object correctly (the first time) and thus it takes one of your textures (which you have on the .adt) and it covers the whole .adt with it. Presumably because of some sort of error linked between the model and the landscape. I'm not sure how to fix this other than to retexture the .adt (which could be a pain, depending on how bad it turned out). It's quite unfortunate that this happens, though, you can wait for Cromon to release an update for YiasEdit which will presumably allow you to place models! Also, backup your .adts very often as Noggit is somewhat unstable (of course, its in beta) and can lead to complications.

@blackhex666; Make sure that Noggit hasn't deleted any files within your World of Warcraft\Data folder (which it can do, rarely). If you find that files are missing, you will have to repair your World of Warcraft client and possibly have to repatch as well. I'm not entirely sure on how to fix this error and you will probably have better luck finding an answer within this topic. Good luck!

Thanks for this guide, bro, it's really awesome. Can't use noggit anymore though, I can't even open it before it crashes.

Toyoka can you edit download link? add that to megaupload or somewhere else because rapidshare is too slow.. says "Currently a lot of users are downloading files. Please try again in 2 minutes or become a Premium member

Please note, the server is not going to check again within the next 2 minutes if downloading is possible again. To provide a fair platform, all user get the same options. Your last attempt was 13 seconds ago."

But good Guide. i give rep for that.

Well, first of all, HUGE +rep for this guide
    Really helped already ^,^'

    I do have one question...
I noticed one of you guys mentioned "fatigue" was removable..

I've enlarged the part southwest of hillsbrad, the part that's actually just open water...

Now ingame, I get the fatigue-bar, even when I'm on fix ground.

Is there any way to remove this "fatigue"-"status" of a .adt without compiling myself (Dunno about that :P)?

I'm using Yias Edit DX (22), and the Novo Trinity Handler 0.3.7.5 with diamondcore

(diamond-worldconfg doesn't seem to have any option whatsoever in it :/

    Best wishes,

    shortbread

    edit:

    http://www.mmowned.com/forums/model-...n-fatigue.html

wouldn't help since I don't seem to be able to use Nogg-It and therefore use Yias

    edit 2:

    and compiling à la

    http://www.mmowned.com/forums/emulat...nfig-file.html

    won't work since I don't have a freaking clue at all X)

The thread you linked basically gives you the codes to put into the specific files that are shown (Player.cpp, World.cpp, etc.), pretty self-explanitory. This turns off all fatigue though, so don't use it unless you don't mind players being able to swim to the edges of the map.

There may be solution to the fatigue though; If you added land by simply raising it above the water and it's giving you fatigue, then try adding land by copying an .adt that is a land-based .adt (you can then flatten and un/retexture it) so that you are using land that naturally did not have fatigue in the first place. You would then cover or smooth out any seams that are showing after the transition.

If the above was confusing in any way, I'll be glad to explain it in more detail

Oh and I'm glad you found the guide helpful!

Hrm. Would you happen to have a link to WoWME? Because Taliis doesn't seem to want to open .wdt files correctly, so I can add .adt tiles.
