I transfered my Bronze Drake to a Blue Undead Drake and it works perfectly!

I must admit though seeing everyone with it does make it a little less special but maybe i'll just edit a model of a mount nobody uses.

p.s The reason I went straight for the flying mount is I could not find the model for my Paladins Charger, I've been from top to bottom through every model in WoW Model Viewer with no luck, any advice?

p.p.s Since i've done this model edit anything added in patch 3.3 doesnt display properly (such as Wrathful Bracers) have I simply taken a wrong turn somewhere or is this something you have to grin and bear?

Have some troubles with swapping Swift Pink Hawkstrider with Swift Spectral Tiger.
There is no "pink" texture for hawkstrider. The one that look similar is called CockatriceElite without any colors. And there are two instances of CockatriceElite in CreatureDisplayInfo.dbc. I tried to change both of them to spectral tiger ones, but nothing seemed to work.

I'm stuck aswell, I follow the guide down to the tiniest bit, I've been trying to swap my Amani War Bear, for Raven Lord. I can manage to swap it to Raven Lord, but the feathers on him are green.

Then I tried to change the bear to RidingSilithidTankSkinArmoredRed and Black, they turn out fine.. except for one thing.. they have big green squares for eyes.

I can't imagine I'm doing something wrong, it might be a.. well not might, probably is a texture mistake in field 6/7.

Just to get it straight, 2638 is the ID for Amani, I open DBC Editor and search for it, the first time I search, 2638 pops up with field 6 and 7 empty, I then proceed to search again, untill it finally finds the bearmount skins.

Now in WoW Modelviewer, I can see that the Amani bear is called "Black" aswell, yet in DBC Editor there's a "texture" in field 7 that says "BearMountArmorRed", that's in field 7. Does that not matter? Cause I just assumed that since my Amani has red armor, I would have to type in "RavenGod" in field 6, next to the "BearMountArmorRed" in field 7, cause that would be my bear.

So initially I would think that in order to make the swap, I would have to replace the "BearMountSkinBlack" in field 6, with "RavenGod".
Now, this usually successfully swaps the Amani with Raven Lord, but the Raven Lord's feathers are green, as mentioned above.

I'm lost.

I even thought the problem could be my bear, being too... complicated?
But I got the same results when I swapped with my Orange Raptor.

Help?

Edit: I just tried with all the BearMount skins, only one worked, and that's the one with the green feathers.
I also tried again with my Orange Raptor, same results.. Raven Lord with green buggy feathers..

I just can't get it to work with a zebra mount -> zulian tiger.. tried it like 10 times all over, I can't see anything happening ingame :/

when im opening my patch-enGB.MPQ there is only the folder called "interface".

any ideas?

So, I did the same, as you, sInX, (mpq>MPQ, etc.) but it doesn't work . I haven't got any idea. Can someone help me please? I did exactly the same, I have changed the display, the textures, but in-game it's not working.
Edit: I tried it with Glitchy's MES, but ot didn't work neither.

i tried a few hours ago to change an ironbound protodrake to mimirons head, but it didn't worked for me.

mimirons head does not have any models to exchange, so i can't change them for ironbound.. the only thing i'd changed were the ID, but thats it
any ideas how to get it working?

(it's my first try to change any models, so pls do not flame me :>)

and i'm german, just to excuse my bad english

EDIT: i got it, just type in a 0 to empty these fields.
