Hmmm... weird.... the guide was really easy to follow, and I was able to get everything done... used it to replace an ugly hair-colour with a more pretty one... but the ugly one iss till in the character creation and my new one issnt there anywhere...

Do I have to delete the old texture in the common-mpq one after putting the new MPQ-File into the Data folder or why is my new stuff not working at all? ; _ ;

You may have named your new MPQ file wrong, it has to be in this format:

(all lowercase)patch-(uppercase letter).MPQ

so something like 'patch-Z.MPQ' would work.

ok this looks fruiting amazing, i have a few questions:
can i actualy use this in-game on WoW? like u changed ur bear to say lex on the side... do u actualy see that when you play world of warcraft?
question 2... where can i get 'MyWarcraftStudio' file from? i looked on this thread for a dl and i cant find 1....
quistion 3... can i edit anything i wanted? so with this i could change the entire scenery?

Ok, I have read this guide and others like it and done this before in the past, however I am having some problems now, mainly that I can not seem to find the .blp for the item I want to edit. I want to edit the mage field marshal's shoulders (shoulder_robe_pvpalliance_C_01) however, there is no blp to be found. I have edited this gear before in the past, but for some reason now there is no blp there, only an .m2 and .skin, any ideas on how I can edit this stuff now?
