    {N} you Need Java Installed

    {G} None

None of the other BLP converter can compaire to this converter when it comes to handeling many files at once.
Most BLP converters only convert one texture at a time, with some of them you could convert 10 textures at a time.
The very top of the line blp converters could possibly handle about 40 textures at one moment without crashing.
Atop, with most converters you will wound up with TGA files.

This java baby though, stacks 200 textures easilly, fast and (according to taskmanager) without the use of a significant ammount of CPU or memory while doing it, AND the results are PNG files.

IMO this is the most useful converter out there.

    Conclusion:
    That's my opinion of experience.
If there is any problems with the quallity of convertions that I haven't noticed yet, I swear I will withdraw theese following words at once as I'd be happy to know.
But the fact that PNG's are to be viewed with windows explorers built in thumbnail/icon system while browsing folders, is timesaving and comfortable enough.
Combined with the quantity, speed, stability and CPU+Memory usage, this is by far the most powerful converter I have ever encountered.

Anyways, supercreds for a usefull thread, lot's of good tools up to date!

    for %F in (*.blp) do <converter here> %F

If you do it right, every converter can do * files at once.

    I didn't quite understand the '%F <coverter here>' thingy....

Well anyways, I am truthfully sorry, I must've been 'doing it wrong' then.
I may not be the sharpest knife in the kitchen, but I guess if 'doing it right' means making it a bigger, more complicated issue then TGA files would be great to work with too, I guess.

On the contrairy, PNG has a lower average filesize than TGA while also being displayed as thumbs in the actual windows filebrowsing system.

I like to keep it small and simple, so the low CPU & Memory usage, the massive capacity of the 'easy-2-use , drag-and-drop , BLP-2-PNG , back-and-forth , within-the-very-same-application' *AND without a 'doing-it-just-the-right-way-complication' , speaks for the practical simplicity of the java converter.

This software, still, gets my absolute recommendation.

Ps! Sorry if I seem harsh in my expressings, theres no flaming here.
You people must please execute me, mine english is a not very very good. Ds!

I'm going to +REP you. Because this is a great thing you've posted here, just one question, noggit will not work for the newest patch, or the other ones correct? I just reinstalled WoW, expansion, and the original. (Meaning TBC I dont have WOtlk.) But If I update all the patchs, will noggit still work? It works now, but if I update it wont correct? Maybe say I keep the original MPQ, and whenever I want to model edit I just change the old MPQ with the newest patch, and change it back, think that would work?

    Lemme explain that more lol,

Keep the patch that I got when I reinstalled both.

    Downlaod the newest patchs.

Whenever I want to use noggit I'll put the first patch back into the DATA folder and take the newest MPQ out, and noggit would operate like that right?

I'll test it if you think it will. :P

Also, uhm, the model edits will show for 3.0.3 if my theory works? ^_^

Thanks, reply ~^Astra^~ I can't pluss rep nevermind sorry. :s
